Tausi Accounts Ltd (“we”, “us”) is an accountancy firm based at Town Hall, Wallsend, NE28 7AT, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website (tausiaccounts.co.uk). What we collect and why

When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to give us — such as your phone number, business type and what you’d like help with. We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services.

Our lawful basis for this under UK GDPR is legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you have made) and, where you go on to engage us, contract.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — it is cookie-free and does not collect or store personal information; visits are counted using anonymised, aggregated data only.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. To operate this website we use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: our hosting provider (Vercel) and our form delivery service (Web3Forms), which passes your enquiry to our email inbox. We only share information where required to run these services or where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we act for you and then as required by law (typically six years for accounting records). If you don’t become a client, we delete enquiry correspondence within 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@tausiaccounts.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
